PDF Standardizer

PDF Standardizer is an all-in-one PDF and color preflight and standardization tool designed for graphic professionals who would like to have full control and guarantee on the quality of their PDF files.

PDF Standardizer offers a simple and reliable way to create PDFs that comply to PDF standards such as ISO 15930-1 PDF/X1-a and Ghent PDF Workgroup specifications as well as to color standards such as ISO 12647.

There are many reasons why PDF Standardizer should be used. The most important ones are:

• Creating print-ready PDFs

PDF Standardizer creates Certified PDFs that comply with ISO 15930-1 PDF/X1-a and Ghent PDF Workgroup standards and whose color content comply with ISO ISO 12647 color standards. A series of automated analysis and correction steps are performed by PDF Standardizer in order to make incoming PDFs compliant.

• Simple to use

Configuring PDF Standardizer is done using two convenient wizards. Users need to answer few basic questions which will allow PDF Standardizer to identify the right preflight parameters, color settings and certification profiles to use. A second wizard configures PDF Standardizer to retrieve files from hotfolder, email and FTP and sort them depending on filename convention.

• Powerful workflow automation

PDF Standardizer contains the complete FullSwitch functionality. Users can go beyond the workflows setup using the wizards and define their own workflows, routing files and drive other applications as in FullSwitch.

• Quality control mode in the LAN

The features mentioned above allow PDF Standardizer to be installed on one computer on the local network. Users copy their PDFs to that computer and PDF Standardizer will create the normalized files or generate reports that indicate what the problems are. Users can then pickup the results from this "quality-mode".
